Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use the RWM Code of Conduct portal (the “Portal”) operated by Remote Workmate. By signing in and using the Portal you agree to them.

Purpose

The Portal lets Remote Workmate workmates review a summary of the Remote Workmate Code of Conduct, answer comprehension questions, and electronically sign an acknowledgment. It is a record that the policy was read and understood. The questions are not a graded test.

Who may use it

• Only Remote Workmate workmates and staff with an @remoteworkmate.com Google account may sign in.
• Only the person an acknowledgment was issued to may open and sign it.
• Portal administrators issue acknowledgments, review them, and mark them received and approved.
• Do not share your account or sign on behalf of anyone else.

Electronic signature

When you type your name, draw your signature and tick the acknowledgment box, you intend that to be your signature and you agree that it has the same effect as a handwritten one to the extent permitted by law. We record your name, signature, Google account, the date and time, your IP address and browser as evidence of signing. Once signed, an acknowledgment cannot be edited; it can only be approved or cancelled by a Portal administrator.

Accuracy and conduct

Provide accurate information. Do not attempt to access records that are not yours, interfere with the Portal, or bypass its security. We may suspend access to protect the Portal or its data.

The Code of Conduct itself

The Portal presents a summary for the acknowledgment. The full Remote Workmate Code of Conduct Policy and related policies remain the governing documents. Nothing in the Portal changes your contract or the policies; it records that you have read them.

Availability and liability

We aim to keep the Portal available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. To the extent permitted by law, Remote Workmate is not liable for losses arising from temporary unavailability. If the Portal is unavailable, contact HR to complete your acknowledgment another way.
